About Us

The Chapman Agency was founded in 1957 by Albert J Chapman, a local resident of Yorktown Heights since 1950. He was an active member of the community and participated in Rotary, Volunteer Ambulance Corps, The Hawthorne Fire Department and the Salvation Army.

He was joined by his son Robert in 1986, who dedicated his time to servicing their growing client base and becoming one of the longest running businesses in Yorktown. Today Bob, along with his wife Lillian, continue the legacy. Before joining Albert J Chapman Agency, Lillian had a long career in Insurance and Financial services holding leadership roles at 2 fortune 100 companies – Liberty Mutual and Fidelity Investments.

The Chapman Agency has continued to grow and now manages an eclectic book of business that spans a variety of risks – working with all types of industries as well as personal lines of insurance.
